About

Annmarie Cullen is a Dublin born musician who may be better known as co-lead singer of popular indie outfit SAUCY MONKY (saucymonky.com). This is her solo music page. Annmarie wrote her first song when she was 8 years old, recorded her first song when she was 12 years old and formed her first all girl band at the age of 15 (they broke up at the ripe old age of 17!).

After a stint in beautiful Barcelona, Annmarie now divides her time between Los Angeles and Dublin. Her 2 solo records “Never Be Mine” (2018) and “Loss…” (2010) have enjoyed national airplay on Ireland’s RTE Radio 1.

Throughout her music career, Annmarie has been a staff writer at Disney and Warner Chappell (under the stage name Annmarie Montade), and her songs have had over 60 placements in Film and TV shows (including 2 theme songs) such as “Blue Bloods”, “Zoey 101”, “Alcatraz”, “iCarly”, “And Then Came Lola”, “Drake and Josh” and “Veronica Mars”.

Annmarie also wrote the music for the first 2 seasons of the show SO WEIRD featuring Mackenzie Phillips on the Disney Channel.

She has a weird fear of ferris wheels, a love affair with coffee and finds that she writes her best songs when she’s miserable. Her plan for the future is to learn how to tread water (for real), improve her terrible Spanish skills and win the lottery.

Thanks for stopping by.
